How to Backflush Your Espresso Machine
- Put the 54mm Silicone Backflush Disc into either your single or double filter basket.
- Put in the recommended espresso cleaning tablet or backflush powder in the middle of the disc.
- Insert the portafilter into the group head of the machine and then lock it in place.
- Carry out a brew cycle for 10 seconds and then stop for 10 seconds; do this five times to ensure that the coffee oils are fully dissolved.
Take the portafilter out, rinse it thoroughly, and use a damp cloth to wipe the group head.
